Belt Tying

Hold the belt in front of your waist, with about 12 inches extra pulled to your left.

Hold the belt in place, and wrap the rest of the belt around your body beginning on your right side...

... and bringing it back around to the front.

Next, repeat the wrapping step again by pulling the belt behind you...

... and bringing it back around to the front.

Now put the wrapped part of the belt ABOVE the shorter end...

... and tuck it under all of the wrapped parts.

Pull both ends of the belt...

... so that it is snug around your waist.

Finally, put the end of the belt that’s in your RIGHT hand and cross it OVER the top of the other end...

... then tuck the end through the gap created by crossing the ends...

and pull until the knot is tight.

Now you are ready for Taekwondo!
